I enjoy reading, I read a lot of books from good Christian authors. I love Francine Rivers, Lisa Samson and Lynn Austin.  I also listen to a lot of recorded books, mostly from the library.  

I also enjoy buying stuff for scrapbooking, card making and other crafts (I don’t seem to get around to using them). I started watching the food network about 3 year ago and now I am a food network junky. My sons wish that had happened when they were living at home. I still don’t cook a lot, just better.

I am a school nurse with my master’s degree only one year away from retirement. All the students at the school I work at are mentally disabled.   I now teach a Sunday School Class for mentally disabled adults and work at a camp twice a year for mentally disabled adults.

I have been married for 36 years to my husband Terry.   Terry is also a reader and we sometimes read books together, especially when we are traveling. 

We have two grown sons, one who is married and has a daughter who just turned one. It is great to finally have a grandchild even if she lives 5 hours away.

I am active at church, special olympics and other groups. 

This is way too long but as usual I will do anything that will prevent me from cleaning house. My goal this year (as most years) is to get into shape. This includes my whole life, at home, at work, physically and spiritually.
